OPENING HOURS

The nursery is open every Saturday from 10am to 5pm from Easter Weekend until September. Any customers who wish to call outwith these times are ask to telephone beforehand to make an appointment.

ORDERING

Orders are despatched, weather permitting, throughout the year, on Mondays or Tuesdays to ensure their arrival before the weekend. Plants are generally despatched in their pots but sometimes this does prove impractical.

Most plants will become unpostable at some stage in the year due to their size, as a result, depending on what you order, you may receive multiple deliveries

Orders can now be made securely online. The secure payment system is managed by PayPal which accepts most of the major credit and debit cards. However if you would prefer to pay by cheque, please post your order along with an open cheque marked "NOT TO EXCEED", followed by the total value of your order including the postage cost. The cheque will be completed on despatch of your order and the invoice included with your plants will confirm the exact amount. Please make cheques payable to BORDER BELLES. Should you wish to collect your order from the nursery please give us a few days notice.

AVAILABILITY

This online catalogue includes plants of which a reasonable stock is usually carried. We will do our utmost to keep the catalogue up to date but feel free to contact us is you wish to check availability.

SUBSTITUTES

Substitutes will not normally be offered unless specifically requested.

PACKACKING AND CARRIAGE CHARGES

Please refer to the shipping section on the home page for information on carriage charges. Also, please note these charges are for guidance only and are subject to change without notice.

COMPLAINTS

Plants must be carefully examined on arrival and any complaints notified in writing within 7 days. Failure to do so will render any complaint void.

REFUNDS

In the event of a problem, a replacement will be offered rather than a refund. If you do not consider this acceptable then please email us mail@borderbelles.com or telephone 01368 840325.

PRIVACY

Your personal information will not be disclosed to third parties and will only be used by Border Belles for the purposes of processing your order.

"Cookies" are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of your shopping basket and its contents.

All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR PLANTS

We recommend immediate planting however if weather conditions are not suitable then water your plants and stand them in an unheated glasshouse or in a sheltered place outdoors.

Telegraph Local Produce Offer Terms and Conditions

To take advantage of the Telegraph Local Produce Offer, readers can obtain forms and tokens by collecting them from the Daily and Sunday Telegraph between Saturday 8th August and Friday 14th August or by downloading from www.telegraph.co.uk. Four tokens will allow one person only to take advantage of the discounted offer.

There are 3 options available: OPTION 1 - A £5 discount if readers spend £15 or more (e.g. £15 spent will cost readers £10, but £40 spent will cost readers £35) OPTION 2 - A £10 discount if readers spend £30 or more (e.g. £30 spent will cost readers £20, but £40 spent will cost readers £30) OPTION 3 - A £20 discount if readers spend £60 or more (e.g. £60 spent will cost readers £40, but £100 spent will cost readers £80)

Readers may only use four tokens in any one single transaction i.e. readers may not offer 8 tokens to receive a higher discount. The four tokens must be attached to a form cut from the newspaper completed with the reader's name and address.

Although the tokens will only be available for 7 days from 8th August you have until 31 October to take advantage of the offer either at the nursery, on-line, by phone or at Haddington Farmers Market on 29 August, 26 September and 31 Ocotber.

Making the offer work on-line is proving rather tricky therefore if you wish to place an order that way you will have to make your selection in the normal way but instead of clicking on checkout when you have completed your selection please click on Make and enquiry this will send your order to us and we will then contact you to complete the ordering process. Alternatively you can phone your order through on 01368 840325 quoting offer codes of Tele5 for £5 discount, Tele10 for £10 discount or Tele20 for £20 discount.
