Closely allied to Polygonatum, the pendent bell shaped flowers are solitary or produced in pairs from the leaf axils. Grow in a woodland garden or peat bed in moist, humus rich but well drained soil.
Hosta are excellent plants for providing foliage interest in those difficult shady parts of the garden. Unless stated otherwise the range offered prefer shade and rich, moist but well drained soil which does not dry out in summer.
